Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory)
4 5 years of experience in a Chemical Manufacturing or Continuous Process Industry
Experience in Polymer/Process Plant Operations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Manage shift operations of Poly Process (P1, P2 Pilot Plant) and Refine Operations (P1 P2).
Supervise DCS Supervisors, Field Operators, and Contract Manpower to ensure smooth plant operations.
Issue secure work permits and ensure equipment isolation/tag-out procedures during maintenance activities.
Coordinate shift handovers, maintain shift reports, and execute daily operational plans.
Monitor and verify process logbooks related to additives, amines, PTMEG, DMAC, and other process parameters.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdown management and resource planning.
Oversee unloading and handling of PTMEG and DMAC tankers.
Ensure raw material issuance based on Quality-approved COA and adherence to FIFO practices.
Supervise cleaning and readiness of process filters, reactors, mixers, and associated equipment before production use.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures while driving effective plant performance.
