Duties & Responsibilities
Perform functional and automated testing for legacy and web-based applications to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Selenium or similar tools for web and API layers.
Validate business workflows and system integrations through comprehensive test coverage.
Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and product teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
Prepare and maintain test plans, execution reports, and documentation for stakeholders.
Stay informed about emerging tools and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.
Adapt between automation and functional testing based on project needs, ensuring flexibility and thorough coverage.

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of progressively complex experience in software engineering or related fields.
5+ years of experience in QA with solid expertise in Selenium/Playwright automation and functional testing.
Proficiency in Java, Python for automation scripting.




Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Insomnia).
Robust knowledge of test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with SQL/No SQL databases.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
