Designation:- Business Development Manager
Reporting :- Sales Head / Management

Job Location:- Lower Parel, Mumbai

Work days:- Monday to Saturday

Work Timings:- 9:30 am to 6:30 pm

Prime Responsibilities:-
Research and identify new business prospects for Miscellenea - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships - or recent ways of reaching existing markets.
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation and represent Miscellenea professionally.
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers includes Corporate / Institutional clients, Interior designers, Architects etc
Meet with retail customers & corporate clients face to face or over the phone, brief them about products, and give a demo of Miscellenea Products & its offerings.
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
Understand the needs of the customers and respond effectively with a plan of how to meet their needs.




Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes,
Have a valuable understanding of the companys business and be able to advise others about them.
Ensure Business Development throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department for brand positioning of Miscellenea.
Liaise with the CRM team and ensure accurate data feeding into the CRM software is done.
Seek ways of improving the way the business operates and develop Miscellenea brand in the market.
Attend & conduct seminars, conferences and events wherever it is appropriate.
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Update your travel plan well in advance to the management.
Prepare &submit; daily - weekly - monthly sales report to the management in a prescribed manner.
