Role & responsibilities
Develop and maintain strategy and policy through continuous analysis of business expansion, supplier payment/collection trends, and supply chain disruptions.
Plan underwriting vision and outlook, create credit and underwriting policies/processes for Supply Chain finance, develop/deploy Scoring models & BRE for receivable and payable financing.
Conduct portfolio studies of outstanding advances/receivables, lead risk tightening initiatives to manage delinquencies/defaults while ensuring profitability and liquidity.
Manage product function, including product design, portfolios, and performance monitoring.
Ensure timely regulatory compliance (e.g., RBI guidelines on trade finance) and other standards.
Highlight any areas of concern or emerging trends in terms of deteriorating credit quality, market /economic trends or reduced profitability across any of the portfolios.
Manage turnaround time (TAT) as per defined guidelines.
Develop solid internal/external relationships with Anchors, Banks, and Financial institutions.
Prepare monthly Risk and Finance Decks.
Represent the company to external stakeholders, including lending partners, board, and strategic alliances.
Preferred candidate profile
• Education: CA/MBA in Finance.
• Specialized Knowledge: Experience managing at least INR 500 Cr. in Supply Chain Finance portfolios (e.g., invoice discounting, vendor financing, trade credit).
• Must-Have Skills: Excellent communication, formulation of SCF policies/products/processes/scorecards/monitoring mechanisms, leadership, team management.
• Desired Skills: Technical expertise in SCF scoring models, tools and automations.
• Experience: 5+ years.
• Preferred Industry: NBFC/Banking/Fintech focused on SCF.
• Languages: Hindi & English proficiency.
