Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation : Prepare and operate rotary-type presses that print using the rotogravure process.
Cylinder Installation : Install engraved copper printing cylinders in the press using hand tools.
Ink Management : Adjust the doctor blade to remove excess ink from the printing cylinder surface.
Material Handling : Thread paper or other printing stock through the press, adjusting guides and tension bars.
Color Registration : Set the focus of electronic scanners on paper guidelines for multicolor printing to control color registration automatically.
Temperature Regulation : Regulate the temperature in web-drying chambers and adjust the automatic cutter at the press s discharge end.
Quality Control :



Inspect printed materials during production runs and adjust the press as needed to meet specifications.
Team Coordination : Direct workers in feeding and unloading the press, replenishing ink supplies, cleaning equipment, and other press operations.
