Documentation and reporting: Maintaining accurate records of quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid submissions. Generating reports and presenting findings to project stakeholders, including management, clients, and contractors.
Qualifications and skills required for a quantity assessment role may include:
A degree in civil engineering, interiors or architecture, construction management,
or a related field.
Robust mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in excel, quantity takeoff software and tools.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost factors.
Knowledge of reading permit set drawing and getting details.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
Experience in bid preparation and cost estimation is highly desirable.
