Create 2D/3D CNC programs using CATIA V5 (Manufacturing Module).
Develop machining strategies for 3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis milling (as applicable).
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
Optimize tool paths for cycle time, tool life, and surface finish.
Generate setup sheets, tool lists, and machining documentation.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and 3D CAD models.
Ensure programs meet dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements.
Identify manufacturability issues and propose design/process improvements.
Standardize CAM templates, machining processes, and best practices.
Participate in cycle time reduction and cost optimization initiatives.
Stay updated with CATIA V5 upgrades, recent tooling, and machining technologies.
