Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bid Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in preparing and managing technical and commercial bids for Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV, and MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing tender requirements, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, preparing competitive proposals, and ensuring successful bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:-

Bid & Proposal Management
Review tender documents, specifications, BOQs, drawings, and contract conditions.
Analyze client requirements and prepare bid strategies.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals within deadlines.
Coordinate bid activities from enquiry receipt to final submission.

Estimation & Costing
Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQs.
Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of quotations.
Prepare cost estimates, pricing sheets, and bid summaries.
Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining project profitability.

Technical Coordination
Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams for technical inputs.
Prepare compliance statements, technical deviations, and clarifications.
Attend pre-bid meetings and client discussions when required.





Vendor & Client Management
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with vendors.
Respond to client queries and submit bid clarifications.

Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all tender requirements, statutory documents, EMDs, BGs, and certifications are submitted correctly.
Maintain bid records, databases, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.

Required Skills:-

Technical Skills
Solid knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV, or MEP systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience in BOQ analysis, quantity estimation, and costing.
Understanding of contract terms and tendering procedures.
