Role & responsibilities
Process insurance claim files accurately and within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
Scrutinize claim documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with insurer guidelines.
Coordinate with surveyors, insurance companies, policyholders, and internal teams to facilitate smooth claim processing.
Prepare, verify, and maintain claim-related documentation and records.
Follow up on pending documents, approvals, and claim status with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure timely submission of claim reports and supporting documents to insurance companies.
Update claim management systems with accurate and complete information.
Monitor claim progress and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and claim-related information.
Ensure adherence to organizational processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Generate periodic MIS reports and assist in claim tracking and operational reporting.
Support the team in achieving departmental productivity and quality objectives.

Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in any discipline.



Candidates with a background in Insurance, Commerce, Management, or related fields will be preferred.
37 years of experience in insurance claim processing, claims administration, or insurance operations. Freshers with strong aptitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.
Good understanding of General Insurance claim processes will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong documentation, data entry, and record management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valuable analytical ability with solid attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under defined timelines.
Robust coordination and follow-up skills with a customer-focused approach.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
