Key Responsibilities
Perform SMD and through-hole component soldering and rework.
Assemble, wire, and test electronic hardware and PCBs.
Conduct functional testing and basic debugging of electronic boards.
Identify and replace faulty components on PCBs.
Read and understand circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly drawings.
Use test and measurement equipment such as Digital Multimeters (DMM) and Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO).
Verify wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies.
Assist hardware engineers during prototype development and validation.
Maintain test records and report hardware issues.
Ensure compliance with ESD and quality procedures.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in SMD soldering and rework.
Valuable knowledge of electronic components and their identification.
Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits.
Proficiency in using Digital Multimeter (DMM) and Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO).
Experience in hardware testing and debugging.
Knowledge of wiring, connectors, and cable assemblies.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Familiarity with PCB footprints, component packages (0402, 0603, QFN, QFP, BGA, etc.), and PCB assembly.
Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with prototype board assembly.
Familiarity with ESD-protected handling practices.
Basic knowledge of embedded hardware or microcontroller-based systems.
Experience working with automotive or industrial electronics is an added advantage.
Qualification: Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
Experience: 1 2 years of relevant experience in hardware assembly, testing, or electronics manufacturing.
