Position: Geospatial Developer

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: (6 months, extendable)

Location: Remote

Work Schedule: 8am to 5pm PHT

Primary Responsibilities

The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing Enterprise Geospatial Information System (EGIS), including:
Developing and maintaining geospatial applications and APIs.
Automating ArcGIS/Esri workflows using Python and ArcPy.
Integrating ArcGIS Online/Enterprise with AWS and Azure.
Designing multi-cloud geospatial solutions.
Working with both Esri and open-source GIS technologies.
Optimizing spatial databases and geospatial services.
Creating a Geo-Marketspace for reusable APIs, scripts, and services.
Producing technical documentation and training materials.

Required Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should have:
7+ years of GIS application development experience.
Robust Python skills (GeoPandas, Shapely, Rasterio, GDAL, Fiona, ArcPy).
JavaScript mapping libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox GL JS, ArcGIS JS API).
ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro.
Open-source GIS stack (PostGIS, GeoServer, QGIS).




AWS and Azure cloud experience.
API development and automation.
PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
Django/GeoDjango.
Microservices and REST APIs.
CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WMTS, WPS).

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geomatics, IT, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
