In this role, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment regulations through regulatory reporting, pay equity initiatives, policy governance, audit readiness, and employment law compliance. You will collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure all compliance obligations are met accurately and on time while minimizing organizational risk. **Key Responsibilities** + Manage and coordinate US and Canadian HR compliance programs and regulatory requirements. + Prepare and submit required government reports, including Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), EEO-1, VETS-4212, OFCCP Contractor Portal certifications, California Pay Data Reports, Illinois Equal Pay Registration, Medicare Part D disclosures, IRS Form 720 (PCORI), and other federal, state, and provincial filings. + Support pay equity reporting and compliance initiatives across Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia, California, and Illinois. + Monitor changes in federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws and assess organizational impact. + Ensure compliance with FLSA, I-9 employment eligibility verification, employee self-identification requirements, and employment law posting obligations. + Review and update employee handbooks, HR policies, onboarding/offboarding notices, and annual benefits communications. + Coordinate mandatory compliance training programs, including workplace harassment prevention training. + Partner with Legal and HR leadership to support audits, investigations, litigation requests, and compliance documentation.
+ Respond to client Requests for Information (RFIs) related to HR compliance, policies, and employment practices. + Maintain compliance calendars, documentation, reporting schedules, and audit-ready records. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely completion of compliance activities. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in HR Compliance, HR Operations, Employment Law, or a related HR function. + Strong knowledge of US federal and state employment laws, including OFCCP, EEOC, FLSA, USCIS I-9, and Affirmative Action requirements. + Working knowledge of Canadian employment compliance, including provincial pay equity legislation. + Experience preparing government compliance reports and managing regulatory filings. + Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Excel. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Solid communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience supporting federal contractors and OFCCP compliance. + Knowledge of compensation analysis and pay equity reporting. + HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or equivalent) is an advantage **What ICON can offer you:** Our success depends on the quality of our people.
