SonyLIV is seeking an experienced Manager – Ad Sales, Digital Business based out of Chennai. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the Digital Business topline and profitability for the Chennai market by developing strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and retail clients while expanding SonyLIV' s presence across Tamil Nadu.

POSITION SPECIFICATION
Education: MBA preferred
Experience: 8–10 years of total experience
Essential Expertise: Digital advertising sales experience is preferred. Candidates with robust TV Ad Sales experience and a proven track record in the Chennai market will also be considered

Desirable Experience
Strong understanding of the Chennai and Tamil Nadu advertising ecosystem
Well-connected with leading media agencies, direct advertisers, and key retail clients in the region
Proven experience in driving business across retail, regional brands, and enterprise clients
Prior experience in monetizing Tamil content or working with regional media businesses will be an added advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




Drive digital advertising revenue by acquiring new clients and growing existing business across Chennai and Tamil Nadu.
Build and strengthen relationships with media agencies, direct advertisers, and retail clients, positioning SonyLIV as the preferred OTT advertising partner.
Identify monetization prospects by creating customized digital and content-led brand solutions aligned with client objectives.
Develop long-term partnerships with key advertisers to ensure sustained revenue growth.
Own end-to-end stakeholder management with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Build, manage, and scale a robust sales pipeline while consistently delivering monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Develop innovative advertising packages and integrated brand solutions to maximize revenue opportunities.
