About Business Line/Function

Wealth Management - Client Management Operations in ISPL started in 2019, provide back office services for BNP WM Singapore and Hong Kong. Processes include Client Reference Data and Reporting (since September 2019)

Position Purpose

Client On-Boarding team’s goal, is to ensure a global and consistent “first service” is rendered to the clients. Ensure practices are adhered to bank’s standard procedures and guidelines with an emphasis in the area of compliance. Keeping abreast with the changes in regulations (site, regional, global, HO), assess its impact.

This role requires a solid leader with expertise in client data management, regulatory compliance, name screening, and operational risk mitigation. The incumbent will drive process efficiency, team performance, and adherence to global and local regulations while maintaining audit-ready records and fostering collaboration with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and Legal teams.

Direct Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Client Onboarding Specialists, ensuring high performance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Set explicit team objectives, KPIs, and SLAs aligned with BNP Paribas Wealth Management’s policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement training programs to enhance team skills.
Drive continuous improvement in client onboarding processes, including SOP updates, control plans, and automation initiatives.
Identify process bottlenecks and propose efficiency-enhancing solutions (e.g., reducing false positives in name screening).
Support the execution of controls and tasks required in the Client‑Onboarding – Data‑Maintenance & Banking‑Services process, ensuring that client documentation, data‑capture activities and banking services meet the Bank’s policies, standards and all applicable local legal‑regulato
