We are seeking a motivated Database System Linux Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems, ensuring their performance, security, and availability.
Responsibilities
Install, configure and maintain database systems on Linux servers.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries as needed.
Implement backup and recovery strategies for data protection.
Ensure database security and integrity by applying necessary patches and updates.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide technical support.
Document database configurations, processes,



and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
Understanding of backup and recovery procedures for databases.
Familiarity with shell scripting and automation tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
