Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution
Prepare and achieve production plans, flowcharts, and schedules.
Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Ensure proper flow of production in line with engineering drawings and available resources.
Engineering & Drawing Verification
Read, verify, and validate engineering and fabrication drawings.
Check BOM (Bill of Materials) against approved drawings and ensure material availability.
Prepare material indents based on approved BOMs and coordinate with stores.
Quality & Inspection
Carry out stage-wise inspections as per internal QC standards and approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
Ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
Identify and address any deviations during production to maintain quality.
Material & Resource Management
Ensure availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment for production.
Coordinate with procurement and stores to maintain smooth operations.
Make necessary arrangements for dispatch of completed jobs.
Team Leadership
Supervise and coordinate production teams to achieve operational efficiency.
Provide guidance, monitor performance, and resolve operational challenges.
Promote adherence to safety standards and best practices in the production unit.
