Assigned to Reception at various points like front office, emergency, laboratory, exchange, etc.
Greet customers -patients and accompanying persons-cordially with a smiling countenance.
Raise bills for registration, consultation, admission/discharge, lab/procedure tests or investigations, scans, etc. and collect payment.
Direct customers to the respective departments.
Provide information about availability of doctors, OP timings, IP non-medical information, and also give appointments with the consent of the doctor.
Settle the cash collected with the accounts department at the end of the shift with the duplicate bills and report of the day’s bills.
Comply with the hospital’s dress code policy.
Work in shifts which rotate weekly.
Coordinate home care and home delivery of Medicines.
Coordinate with ambulance service during Emergency situation.
Any other prime duties and key tasks assigned by the department head from time to time.
