We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer [Fullstack], where you will have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

The MLX team is at the forefront of how Capital One builds and deploys responsible GenAI and ML models; we onboard and educate associates on the GenAI and ML platforms and products that the whole company uses; we drive new innovation and research; and we’re working to seamlessly infuse Generative AI and ML into the fabric of the company. The AI experience we're creating is the foundation upon which our lines of business will continue to deliver next-generation machine learning-driven products and services for our customers.

What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design,



develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
Direct a range of multifaceted tech initiatives, drawing on extensive expertise in full-stack architectures, distributed microservices, and the implementation of robust observability frameworks.
Partner with product and design teams to develop and integrate advanced features to the platform
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning recent technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community
Utilize various programming languages, Open Source technologies, Relational/NoSQL databases, Containers and a variety of AWS tools and services with a special focus on Serverless initiatives.
