As Microencapsulation Scientist, you will play a vital role in the R&D; group support product development of microcapsule products - focusing on fragrance microcapsules.
Responsibilities:
Synthesis and development microcapsules using emulsion polymerization
Development of active delivery systems (polymer and other fragrance delivery system for home care and personal care products)
Polybenzimidazole (PBI), Polysulfone and Polyacrylonitrile polymer/s membrane
Polymer membrane and microcapsules fabrication and characterization by stereo optical microscope (Emulsion and condensation polymerization)
Synthesis of organic cations for anion exchange membranes
Synthesis of organic compounds and characterization by IR, UV, NMR and HRMS.
Preparation of bimetallic nanoparticle catalyst supported on polymer.
Organometallic one pot synthesis.
Polymer and organic synthesis and characterization by SEM, TEM, IR, UV, NMR and MS).
Requirements:
Master of Science in Organic Chemistry
Min 5 years experience working with fragrance microcapsules.
Analytical mindset with the ability to work well in both a wider team and/or independently. Hands-on approach with excellent laboratory operating skills.
Project management, team management
Excellent communication skills.
