Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction: Teach Western music theory, history, and performance to students at various levels, from beginners to advanced.
Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and age-appropriate music curricula, incorporating a range of Western music genres and techniques.
Performance Preparation: Prepare students for performances, including solo and group recitals, school concerts, and other events.
Assessment: Evaluate and assess students’ progress through regular testing, performance evaluations, and feedback.
Classroom Management: Create a respectful and supportive classroom workplace that promotes student participation and growth.
Professional Development: Stay updated on new teaching methods, music trends, and educational tools to enhance the music program.
Collaboration: Work closely with other faculty members, parents, and the community to support and promote the music program.
