The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machines and production equipment in a safe, effective, and quality-focused manner. This role involves working in a quick-paced manufacturing setting with direct guidance, contributing to the production of high-quality components using both manual and automated systems, including welding cells and robotic technologies.
Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
Immediately stop work and report any major injury hazards.
Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Promote a culture of safety and interdependence.
Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices.
Participate in HSE training and initiatives.
Quality
Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
Raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.
Ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
Delivery
Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products.
Meet production goals and maintain required cycle times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping and machine care.
Perform planned operator maintenance tasks.
Support equipment maintenance and repair efforts with peers and skilled trades.
Teamwork
Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
Complete required training and personal development activities.
Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, and process efficiency.
