Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in equipment and systems.
Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems and components.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Replace or repair faulty components, wiring, and other electrical parts.
Test and calibrate electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to address and resolve issues.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an electrical repair technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools,
meters, and other electrical testing equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid electrical certification or license is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with specific types of electrical systems or equipment relevant to the industry.
Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
