About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused Data Platform Cloud Presales / Solution Engineer to support enterprise customers in designing, evaluating, and adopting up-to-date data, analytics, AI, and cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This role requires solid technical knowledge across data warehousing, databases, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, data integration, analytics, AI services, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading customer-facing technical discussions, solution workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and architecture reviews.

You will work closely with customers, sales teams, product specialists, engineering, and partners to position and design solutions using Oracle technologies such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Exadata, OCI GoldenGate, OCI Data Lakehouse, OCI AI Services, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Presales Consulting
Understand customer business goals, data challenges, technical requirements, and modernization priorities.
Design scalable, secure,



and high-performing data platform solutions on OCI.
Lead architecture discussions covering Autonomous Database, Exadata, data warehouse modernization, data lakehouse, analytics, AI/ML, and data integration.
Translate customer requirements into solution architectures, technical recommendations, demos, and implementation approaches.
Partner with sales teams to support chance qualification, technical discovery, proposals, RFP responses, and solution positioning.

Customer Engagement & Technical Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders including CIOs, CDOs, data leaders, architects, engineers, and business teams.
Lead customer workshops, whiteboarding sessions, executive briefings, technical deep dives, and solution reviews.
Clearly communicate the business and technical value of Oracle data, analytics, and AI solutions.
