Job description:
The Head of Department (HOD) for Social Studies is responsible for leading and managing the Social Studies department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to students. The HOD will oversee curriculum development, instructional quality, and faculty performance, as well as promote an engaging and inclusive learning workplace.
Requirements:
Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Social Studies department.
Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching methods and curriculum.
Coordinate departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Mentor and support Social Studies teachers in their qualified growth.
Education: Master’s degree in Education, Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field.
