Responsible for managing subcontracting procurement activities, including sourcing subcontractors, issuing purchase orders,
coordinating material supply, tracking job work processes, and ensuring timely delivery of subcontracted products/services while
maintaining quality and cost objectives.
Manage end -to -end subcontracting procurement processes and job work activities.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontractors based on quality, capacity, cost, and delivery performance.
Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms with subcontractors.
Raise and monitor subcontracting purchase orders and job work orders.
Coordinate material dispatches to subcontractors and track material consumption.
Follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely production and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory of materials issued for subcontracting and reconcile material returns.
Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores teams to meet operational requirements.
Resolve issues related to quality, delivery delays, and subcontractor performance.
Maintain procurement records, subcontractor agreements, and documentation.
Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
BE /Diploma - Mechanical or a related field.
5 -7+ years of industrial experience.
Experience in procurement, subcontracting, or supply chain operations.
