The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lead with over

10 years of experience in the wire harness and cable assembly industry, with a specific

quality control methodologies for aerospace and space systems, with a proven track record

of leading teams, implementing robust QA processes, and driving continuous improvement.

This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards, particularly AS9100D, PAX

300, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and develop a team of

quality specialists in a high-stakes, high-reliability setting.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing mentorship,

training, and performance evaluations for personnel working on critical

space systems.
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality management

system (QMS) in alignment with industry standards such as AS9100D, ISO

9001, and IATF 16949, and specifically tailored for the stringent

requirements of the space industry.




Establish and oversee quality control processes for all stages of wire

harness production, from raw material inspection to final product testing

and shipment, ensuring adherence to PAX 300 workmanship standards.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and

preventive actions (CAPA) for product defects and non-conformances,

with a strong focus on preventing recurrence in a zero-fault

setting.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to

ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing

process, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges of space
Manage and conduct internal and external audits, including supplier

audits, to ensure compliance with quality standards, with a specific focus

on AS9100D and relevant ECSS requirements.
