PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Primary role will be to support the India and global contract content for Elliott Group for current and recent projects for Elliott proposals and projects including day-to-day follow-up, reporting and timely delivery of goods from vendors

The incumbent will be expected to demonstrate a level of flexibility in their work schedule to achieve the demands of project deadlines.

BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE

What are the requirements of this job in terms of education and previous work experience? What kinds of knowledge and skills should the incumbent possess? (e.g. technical know-how of a function, product or process; intensive knowledge of policies and procedures; analytical skills; selling techniques; supervisory skills, etc.)
Bachelor ‘s degree in Mech Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Expediting in the turbomachinery field




Strong understanding of global and Indian supply chain & procurement processes and standards
Possess a background in team-oriented settings, a positive attitude, an ability to change, a demonstrated ability to make decisions and a positive perspective regarding the work environment.
Excellent communication skills are required, along with the ability to influence other departments and disciplines to work together to meet the needs of the customer.
Understands company cost structure and how to develop full and accurate cost totals
Preferred knowledge of operational processes at Elliott
