Robust hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security architecture and cloud security design.
Knowledge of Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Azure WAF, Application Gateway, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, Private Link, Azure SQL, and secure networking controls.
Mandatory API security experience, including REST APIs, API gateways, OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, token security, rate limiting, and protection against API abuse.
Understanding of secure application design, secure coding principles, OWASP Top 10, and OWASP API Security Top 10.
Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline security, infrastructure as code security, vulnerability remediation,



and secure deployment practices.
Ability to conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, architecture assessments, and technical risk reviews.
Solid communication skills with the ability to engage architects, developers, engineers, project teams, compliance teams, and leadership. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, CISM, or equivalent certification.
