Position Overview

Miranda Automation Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to support the design and development of automation systems and machinery. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical drawings, layouts, and fabrication details in coordination with the mechanical design and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for machines, structures, and assemblies.
Creation of GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings.
Preparation of layout drawings for machines and equipment installation.
Preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) based on design requirements.
Coordination with mechanical design engineers, electrical team, and production team for drawing updates and revisions.
Updating drawings as per site changes or client requirements.
Maintaining drawing records and revision control.
Supporting project execution team during manufacturing and installation stages.




Ensuring drawings comply with project standards and manufacturing feasibility.

Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D design software preferred.
Understanding of fabrication processes, sheet metal, and machine assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Positive coordination and communication skills.

Qualification
Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in automation, machinery manufacturing, or SPM industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in automation or material handling equipment drawings.
Ability to work in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with positive documentation practices.
