Job Description: A Computer Operator with Tally knowledge is responsible for recording daily financial transactions, managing accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining accurate digital books. The role involves processing invoices, executing bank reconciliations, handling GST/TDS compliance, and ensuring general office efficiency using MS Office and Tally ERP or Tally Prime. - Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain data for sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into the Tally software. [1]
- Bookkeeping & Ledgers: Create and update ledgers, vouchers, and cash books on a daily basis. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Billing & Invoicing: Generate professional invoices, debit notes, and credit notes for clients and vendors. [1, 2]
- Banking Operations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations. [1]
- Tax Compliance: Assist in tracking and preparing Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) entries. [1]
- Reporting: Generate financial statements, stock/inventory reports,



and Daily Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for management. [1, 2]
- General Administration: Handle day-to-day office correspondence, manage physical and digital files, and support general back-office administrative tasks using MS Office (Word, Excel). [1, 2, 3]

Key Skills & Requirements
- Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Tally (ERP 9 or Tally Prime) and basic MS Office tools (particularly MS Excel).
- Accounting Knowledge: Explicit understanding of basic accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in numerical data entry and record maintenance.
- Organization & Communication: Ability to manage office records systematically and coordinate with auditors, management, and vendors
