Position: Linux Kernel Device Driver Developer (PCIe) (BB25FT RM 4266)
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Linux Kernel Device Driver Developer with 2–5 years of experience in Linux kernel programming and PCIe device driver development. The ideal candidate should have strong C/C++ programming skills and a solid understanding of Linux internals, PCIe architecture, and low-level system software development.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing Linux kernel drivers for high-performance PCIe devices used in storage, networking, embedded systems, and virtualization platforms.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel device drivers.
Develop and debug PCIe Endpoint and Root Complex drivers.
Implement support for DMA, MSI/MSI-X interrupts, BAR mapping, and memory management.
Debug kernel crashes, memory leaks, race conditions, and performance issues.
Work closely with hardware, firmware,
and application teams to bring up current platforms.
Analyze PCIe protocol transactions using protocol analyzers and Linux debugging tools.
Optimize driver performance for low latency and high throughput.
Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
Create technical documentation for driver architecture and APIs.
Required Skills
Programming
Solid programming skills in C (mandatory)
Positive knowledge of C++
Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash)
Experience with Git version control
Experience
2–5 years of hands-on Linux Kernel Device Driver development.
Proven experience in PCIe device driver development.
Experience in product development and hardware bring-up is highly desirable
