Job Description:

To ensure reliable operation, preventive and predictive maintenance, and energy-efficient performance of all electrical equipment, automation systems, and utilities.

Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems (CNC/PLC-based machines, grinding machines, furnaces, compressors, motors, drives, and control panels).

Ensure secure operation of Machines, Equipment's, Interlocks, Electrical Supply, Pressure Vessels, Cranes, Hoists, Gas Supply and Testing equipment's.

Knowledge of all operations like Grinding, Milling, Turning etc.

Troubleshooting of CNC systems Siemens, Fanuc Controllers & SCADA systems.

Troubleshooting of PLC – Siemens, Delta, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi

Troubleshooting of VFD – Danfoss, Delta etc.

Implementation of automation and low-cost automation projects.

Support installation, testing, and commissioning of recent machines, utilities, and electrical infrastructure.

Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for electrical integration during projects.

Maintain equipment history, calibration records, and statutory inspection reports.





Monitor plant power distribution system (HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems).

Drive energy conservation initiatives and reduce power consumption per unit of production.

Ensure protected operation of electrical systems and compliance with IE Rules, CEA regulations, and factory inspector requirements.

Monitoring of Power Quality and Power factor.

Energy monitoring and measurement parameters EnPI and EnB. Monitor the performance of SEU.

Ensure availability of critical spares (VFDs, sensors, relays, PLC modules, contactors, etc.).

Conduct awareness programs on electrical safety and energy conservation.

Guide and develop technicians in troubleshooting electrical issues.

To achieve the KAI of PM Pillar of TPM as per the Master plan.

Implementing, maintaining and continually improve: ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, EnMS 50001:2018, ISO 10002: 2018 and other applicable systems.

Prepare Budget for the department.
