We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Controller to ensure that all garments meet the company's quality standards before dispatch. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of garment quality parameters, inspection procedures, and defect identification.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect garments during inline and final stages of production.
Check fabric, stitching, measurements, finishing, labeling, and packing quality.
Identify and report defects to the production team for immediate correction.
Ensure garments meet buyer specifications and company quality standards.
Conduct random quality inspections before packing and dispatch.
Verify measurements as per the approved size chart.
Monitor workmanship, thread trimming, ironing, and overall garment appearance.
Maintain quality inspection reports and defect records.
Coordinate with Production, Cutting, Finishing, and Packing teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure only approved quality products are packed and dispatched.
Follow AQL standards and company quality procedures wherever applicable.
Suggest improvements to reduce defects and improve product quality.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of garment quality standards and inspection methods.
Ability to identify stitching, fabric, measurement, and finishing defects.
Basic understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
Attention to detail and solid observation skills.
Valuable communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under production deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Experience in knitted garment manufacturing is preferred.
Knowledge of AQL inspection methods is an added advantage.
Experience in men's, women's, and kids' innerwear quality inspection is preferred.
