Position
CNC Operator / CNC Setter (VMC & CNC Turning)
Job Responsibilities
Operate and set up CNC VMC and CNC Turning machines.
Perform machine setup, tool setting, fixture alignment, and work offset adjustments.
Load, edit, and run CNC programs (Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers preferred).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and job instructions.
Carry out first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
Monitor machining parameters, cycle time, and component quality.
Replace cutting tools and make offset corrections to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum rejection.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S, safety, and quality standards.
Report machine abnormalities and coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Maintenance team.
Eligibility
ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Freshers with CNC training or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Experience: 0–8 years in CNC VMC or CNC Turning operations.
Basic knowledge of G & M codes is an added advantage.
Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
