We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Able Bodied Seaman (AB) to join our vessel crew. In this role, you will play a critical part in daily deck operations, navigation watchkeeping, equipment maintenance, and cargo handling. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, highly reliable, and holds all required Coast Guard certifications and maritime credentials.

Key Responsibilities:

Watchkeeping & Steering: Stand navigational watches on the bridge; act as helmsman to steer the vessel under the direction of the Master or Mate on duty; serve as a lookout to monitor traffic, weather, and sea hazards.

Deck Operations: Perform line handling during mooring, unmooring, and anchoring operations; operate winches, cranes, and deck machinery safely.

Maintenance & Upkeep: Perform general surface preparation, chipping, priming, painting, greasing, and cleaning of deck structures, rigging, and equipment.

Cargo Operations: Assist with loading, securing, discharging, and inspecting cargo and supplies.

Emergency & Safety: Participate in safety, fire,



and lifeboat drills; maintain life-saving and firefighting equipment; adhere strictly to company Safety Management System (SMS) protocols.

General Duties: Assist in keeping living quarters, mess rooms, and deck spaces clean and sanitary. Qualifications & Requirements.

Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC): Valid USCG MMC with Able Seaman endorsement (AB Unlimited, AB Limited, or AB Special). * Certifications:

Valid STCW Basic Safety Training & Security Awareness endorsements.

Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.

Experience: Minimum [1–2 years] of experience as an AB or Ordinary Seaman (OS) on commercial vessels, tugboats, or offshore support vessels preferred. * Skills: Proficient in knots, line handling, seamanship, basic navigation, and operating deck power tools.

Pay: ₹57,414.00 - ₹95,840.00 per month
