Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations: Safely operate and monitor bromination reactors, scrubbing systems, and peripheral equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Process Control: Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, reaction rates, and chemical dosing to ensure batch quality and safety.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to EHS (Setting, Health, and Safety) protocols, including the handling of hazardous chemicals (Bromine gas/liquid), wearing full PPE, and emergency response guidelines.
Batch Documentation: Maintain accurate online batch manufacturing records (BMR/BPR), logbooks, and shift handover reports.
Troubleshooting: Identify and report operational deviations, leaks, or equipment malfunctions to shift supervisors/engineers immediately.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
ITI (AOCP / Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) / B.Sc. Chemistry / Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Experience: 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience operating Bromination plants or handling hazardous halogenation reactions in API / Fine Chemical manufacturing.
Key Skills: Bromine handling, gas scrubbing systems, reactor handling (GLR/SSR), vacuum pumps, distillation, safety protocols.
