We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer (Draftsman / AutoCAD Engineer) to prepare accurate technical drawings and detailed layouts for industrial and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting, interpreting engineering drawings, and coordinating with project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
Develop fabrication, structural, civil, or mechanical drawings as per project requirements.
Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes.
Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site personnel for drawing clarifications.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and applicable codes.
Assist in quantity estimation and preparation of BOQs, if required.
Requirements
Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of experience as a Draftsman/AutoCAD Engineer.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of 3D software such as AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, or Revit will be an added advantage.
Valuable understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
