Job Description: Medical Representative (MR)Role Overview

A Medical Representative is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies, building robust relationships, and driving sales in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
Visit doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals regularly to promote products
Explain product benefits, usage, and competitive advantages
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare specialists
Organize medical camps, seminars, and promotional activities
Collect market feedback and report competitor activities
Maintain daily call reports and sales records
Ensure availability of products in pharmacies and hospitals

Required Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of medicines and healthcare industry




Sales and negotiation skills
Ability to build relationships and trust
Time management and territory planning

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc, B.Pharm, or any life sciences preferred)
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of sales experience

Salary (India)
₹2–5 LPA (depending on company & experience)
Incentives + travel allowance usually included
