6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
Robust proficiency in data modeling concepts, including entities, relationships, normalization, and master/reference entities.
Knowledge of the Pharma domain (Clinical, Medical, Regulatory) is preferred.
Experience in the development and maintenance of logical data models, and transforming them into physical database designs for staging areas, data warehouses, and data marts.
Ability to create DDL for database objects and migration scripts to load data into new structures when required, including mapping source to target databases and documenting transformation rules.
Extensive experience in logical and physical relational data modeling using tools like Erwin.
Proficiency in business process modeling and logical data models.
Solid communication skills with a history of interacting with business SMEs and architects.
Experience using data modeling tools such as ERWIN and ER Studio for building information models.
Understanding of data requirements within audit and control frameworks.
Nice-to-have: Knowledge of ER Studio, life sciences domain knowledge, and previous experience in roles like DBA.
Identify the necessary business processes, systems, and data to address business problems effectively.
Support data governance by mapping out the data flow across the value chain, ensuring key stakeholders, including data producers and consumers, are easily identifiable.
Propose business rules based on the outcomes of data analysis to enhance decision-making.
Identify and define the business concepts (entities), their formats, and the relationships between concepts, and represent them in both Conceptual and Logical Models.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data elements, create controlled vocabularies, and ensure alignment with external standards.
