Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Associate to join our content team. You will be responsible for editing and producing compelling video content for various platforms, including social media, e-commerce, advertising, and internal campaigns. A strong understanding of beauty trends, visual storytelling, and branding is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, brand-aligned videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, paid ads, website, and other channels.
Collaborate with creative directors, marketers, and content creators to plan and execute video concepts.
Add music, graphics, motion elements, transitions, voiceovers, subtitles, and other effects to enhance viewer engagement.
Maintain consistency with the brand’s tone, aesthetic, and messaging.
Optimize video formats and lengths for different platforms and audience preferences.
Manage video assets and ensure proper organization, version control, and backups.
Stay up to date with beauty content trends, editing techniques, and platform requirements.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor in beauty, fashion, lifestyle,



or a similar consumer-facing industry.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent video editing software.
Strong sense of timing, storytelling, visual composition, and aesthetic sensitivity aligned with beauty content.
Experience editing for multiple platforms, especially short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Ability to work independently, take feedback constructively, and meet tight deadlines.
Bonus: Experience with color grading, animation, or motion design.

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of qualified video editing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with beauty industry content, influencer marketing, and user-generated content (UGC).
Portfolio or reel showcasing beauty/lifestyle-related editing work.
