Vipula Creative Technologies is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Injection Mold Design Engineer with robust expertise in Autodesk Moldflow to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing high-quality injection molds, performing mold flow analysis, and optimizing designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop injection molds for plastic components based on customer requirements and specifications
Perform mold flow simulations using Autodesk Moldflow to predict and resolve potential manufacturing issues
Optimize gate locations, cooling systems, and mold structure for improved cycle time and product quality
Collaborate with product design, tooling, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless project execution
Analyze warpage, shrinkage, fill patterns, and cooling efficiency to enhance mold performance
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mold manufacturing
Support prototype and production phases with technical expertise and troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Tool Engineering / Polymer Engineering or related field
2–5 years of experience in injection mold design and Moldflow analysis
Proficiency in Autodesk Moldflow (Insight/Adviser)
Good understanding of plastic materials, injection molding processes, and tooling concepts
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Preferred Skills
Experience in automotive, consumer products, or industrial plastic components
Knowledge of GD&T; and DFM/DFA principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
