Sr QE Automation

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD and Cypress
Build and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured
Perform data validation, SQL-based testing, and data pipeline quality checks
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Conduct various test types — unit, integration, API, smoke, system, and performance testing
Manage test data, test planning, and test execution across complex data and cloud settings
Work with Oracle, SQL Server, and ETL tools
Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve testing efficiency
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product owners in an agile team

Skills and Experience Required
7+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
Robust proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Cypress, and Java
Experience with API automation using Rest Assured. Strong API testing experience using Postman, including scripting and collection automation.




Proficient in SQL queries and data validation across relational databases
Experience with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and in-sprint test automation
Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and data warehouse architectures
Proven ability to own QA deliverables across the full project lifecycle, from inception and design review through validation and release.
Strong experience in both test automation and hands-on manual QA
Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) is a plus
Experience working in agile delivery teams
Ability to lead, mentor, and manage offshore QA engineers.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, documentation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide regular project and quality updates to management in a explicit
and structured manner.
