We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee program at ORIGIN TWENTY THREE, a premium specialty coffee café and roastery opening in Vadodara.
Responsibilities
Lead daily coffee operations and maintain exceptional beverage quality.
Train, mentor, and manage the barista team.
Develop and standardize coffee recipes, brewing protocols, and workflow systems.
Calibrate espresso and brewing equipment daily.
Ensure consistency in espresso, manual brews, and specialty beverages.
Manage coffee inventory, ordering, and stock control.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and operational standards.
Assist with customer engagement and create memorable coffee experiences.
Work closely with the roasting team and contribute to menu development.
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of specialty coffee experience.
Robust knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, manual brewing methods, and coffee origins.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for hospitality and specialty coffee culture.
Experience with coffee roasting is an added advantage.
