We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payment Officer with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) sector. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payment operations, payment gateway reconciliations, transaction monitoring, and related financial processes. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily payment processing and ensure timely settlement of transactions.
Handle payment gateway reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Monitor payment transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with banks, payment gateway providers, and internal teams to resolve payment-related issues.
Prepare reconciliation reports and maintain accurate financial records.
Investigate failed, pending, or disputed transactions and ensure timely resolution.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to payments.
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal control procedures.
Maintain documentation of payment processes and reconciliation records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the NBFC sector in payment operations or a similar role.
Solid knowledge of payment gateway reconciliation and payment processing workflows.
Valuable understanding of banking transactions, settlements, and financial reconciliation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
