About the Company

Ltd. is a leading EPC service provider specializing in EHV electrical substations, transmission lines, UG cable lines, power plants, and renewable energy solutions including solar, wind, hydro, and thermal. We deliver end-to-end services covering supply, erection, commissioning, testing, and O&M.;

Role Overview
The Project Manager / Project Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end execution and delivery of EPC projects including EHV substations, transmission lines, and power plant installations, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, safety norms, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
● Plan, execute, monitor, and control EPC projects from inception to completion.
● Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
● Coordinate with client, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
● Supervise erection, testing, and commissioning of EHV substations (33kV to 400kV), transmission lines, and UG cables.
● Ensure all works comply with PGCIL, CEA, and client technical specifications.
● Monitor daily progress and submit MIS reports, DPR, and monthly project status reports to management.
● Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
● Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and site safety protocols.
● Coordinate with procurement team for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
● Handle client correspondence,



site meetings, and approvals.
● Manage erection and commissioning of power transformers, switchgear, protection panels, and control systems.
● Supervise stringing, insulator fitting, and tower erection activities for transmission lines.

Technical Skills Required
● Strong knowledge of EHV substation equipment – Power Transformers, CTs, PTs, Circuit Breakers, LA, Isolators.
● Experience in protection relay testing using Omicron, Doble, Megger, Raytec, or Motwane instruments.
● Familiarity with SCADA, RTU, and control & relay panel configurations.
● Understanding of transmission line design, stringing, and civil foundation works.
● Knowledge of UG cable laying, jointing, and cable testing procedures.
● Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, AutoCAD for project planning and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience
● B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
● 5–10 years of experience in EPC projects in the power sector.
● Prior experience with PGCIL, state utilities, or large IPP projects preferred.
● Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

● Zero major safety incidents on site.
● Client satisfaction rating and snag-closure time.
● Cost adherence within approved project budget.
● Quality of commissioning and punch-point closure.
