Position: Electrician – Welding Machines Maintenance

Reporting To: Site Engineer / Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of welding machines, including SAW (Submerged Arc Welding), PTW (Portable/Projection/Pressure Welding), and other welding equipment. The role requires ensuring smooth operation of machines and minimizing downtime at project sites.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of SAW, PTW, MIG, MAG, TIG, and Arc welding machines.
Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs on welding machines and related equipment.
Install, test, and commission welding machines at project sites.
Inspect electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, switches, cables, and control panels.
Repair and replace defective electrical parts and wiring.
Ensure proper functioning of welding machine control circuits and power supply systems.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts consumption.




Follow safety procedures and electrical standards while performing maintenance work.
Coordinate with production and site teams to ensure machine availability.
Assist in inventory management of electrical spare parts and tools.

Required Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in maintenance and repair of welding machines.

Experience
2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of welding equipment.
Experience with SAW, PTW, MIG, TIG, and Arc welding machines preferred.

Skills Required
Knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, and industrial wiring.
Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot faults.
Understanding of welding machine components and operation.
Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently at project sites.
Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
