Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced STP & ETP Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in plant operations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and maintaining treated water quality as per statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor STP/ETP systems to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
Check and record daily operating parameters such as pH, flow, DO, ORP, MLSS, sludge level, pressure, and chemical dosing.
Perform routine maintenance of pumps, blowers, agitators, valves, filters, and other mechanical equipment.
Prepare and maintain daily logbooks, operation reports, and maintenance records.
Carry out backwashing, sludge handling, filter media cleaning, and chemical preparation as required.
Ensure treated water quality complies with Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms.
Identify operational issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely rectification.
Handle chemicals safely and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.




Maintain valuable housekeeping and cleanliness of the treatment plant.
Assist during inspections, audits, and sampling by regulatory authorities.
Eligibility
ITI/Diploma/Any Technical Qualification (Preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in operating STP and/or ETP plants.
Knowledge of biological and physico-chemical treatment processes.
Ability to troubleshoot common operational problems.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Skills
Experience with MBBR, MBR, SBR, ASP, UF, RO, or tertiary treatment systems.
Knowledge of online monitoring systems.
Valuable record-keeping and reporting skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Word).
Salary
Salary will be based on experience and interview performance.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
