Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Jr./Sr. Preform Production Operator. This role is crucial to our manufacturing process, involving the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of machinery used to produce high-quality preforms. The ideal candidate will have a robust mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Depending on experience, the role will involve either learning and assisting in core production tasks (Jr. level) or taking a lead role in optimizing processes, complex troubleshooting, and training (Sr. level).

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor preform injection molding machines or other designated production equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
Perform routine quality checks on preforms, including visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and weight verification, to ensure adherence to specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues or process deviations, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication,



and basic component replacement, to minimize downtime.
Accurately record production data, quality control results, and maintenance activities in logs and digital systems.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines, ensuring smooth transitions between different product runs.
(For Sr. Level) Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation, quality control procedures, and safety guidelines.
(For Sr. Level) Lead efforts in identifying root causes of recurring production issues and implement corrective actions.
(For Sr. Level) Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to production methods and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a secure and productive workplace.
