Role & Responsibilities
Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per structural drawings.
Calculate reinforcement quantities for footings, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and staircases.
Coordinate with structural consultants and site engineers for reinforcement detailing.
Prepare steel quantity estimates and material reconciliation reports.
Monitor steel consumption and minimize wastage.
Verify reinforcement drawings and resolve discrepancies before execution.
Maintain BBS records, revisions, and documentation.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely steel availability.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
5+ years of experience in BBS preparation for high-rise residential, commercial, redevelopment, or SRA projects.
Solid knowledge of RCC detailing, reinforcement drawings, IS Codes, and steel estimation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Rebar CAD, or BBS software.
Experience in steel quantity estimation, reconciliation, and material planning.
Valuable analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
