Mid-Level CGI Artist – Texturing, Lighting & Retouch Artist

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mid-Level CGI Artist – Texturing, Lighting & Retouch Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should possess strong visualization skills, a keen eye for realism, and hands-on experience in texturing, lighting, rendering, and post-production workflows. This role requires the ability to create high-quality, photorealistic visual assets for products, interiors, exteriors, settings, and marketing content while maintaining consistency with project and studio standards.

Key Responsibilities
Create physically accurate materials and textures using PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows.
Develop realistic lighting setups to achieve high-quality visual outputs and photorealistic renders.
Demonstrate expertise in shading, material creation, rendering, and visualization techniques.
Perform UV unwrapping and maintain clean, optimized UV layouts for efficient texturing and rendering.
Produce high-quality renders for products, architectural spaces, and environment visualizations.
Refine and optimize lighting, texturing, shading, and material setups to enhance realism.




Carry out image retouching, color correction, and post-production work to improve final deliverables.
Ensure consistency in visual quality, project standards, and brand guidelines across all outputs.
Manage project timelines effectively and deliver work within deadlines.
Collaborate closely with modeling artists, creative leads, and production teams to achieve project objectives.

Software Requirements
Autodesk Maya
Autodesk 3ds Max (Mandatory)
V-Ray (Mandatory)
Substance Painter
Adobe Photoshop
KeyShot or similar rendering engines

Requirements
2–5 years of professional experience in texturing, lighting, rendering, or CGI visualization.
Robust understanding of PBR workflows, shading techniques, rendering pipelines, and optimization.
Positive knowledge of UV unwrapping, material creation, and rendering best practices.
Understanding of post-production, image enhancement, and retouching workflows.
Solid portfolio showcasing photorealistic texturing, lighting, and rendering projects.
Excellent eye for composition, detail, realism, and visual storytelling.
